Today (20 Feb 2025), officers from the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) together with the Provincial Police Region 4 arrested Mr. Suthee Chuemthaisong, a suspect with an arrest warrant from the Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions No. 20/2019 dated 28 May 2019. He is the 16th defendant who was sentenced to 32 years in prison and has to pay a total of 16,912,128,273.66 baht in compensation, plus interest, in the G2G rice sales case during the government of former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
